FPA-East Offers Virtual Tours of the Flood Defense System

New Orleans, LA – The Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East (FPA) partnered with virtual reality (VR) company, Pyxis LLC., to produce a 15-minute virtual tour of the $4B Hurricane Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS), which spans three parishes. Flood Protection Authority-East Announces New Regional Director

New Orleans, LA – On Friday, March 19th, the President of the Board of Commissioners for the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East (FPA-East), Herbert Miller, appointed Kelli Chandler as the incoming Regional Director. Safety Improvement Project to Begin on Lakeshore Drive

New Orleans, LA – The Flood Protection Authority-East (FPA) is set to begin work on a number of safety improvements to Lakeshore Drive. The new features include pouring new asphalt, creating a raised median with turn lanes, adding a two-way bike lane, and enhancing pedestrian crossings along the western end of Lakeshore Drive.
